Vanessa Rampton (@)'s main field of research is the history of ideas and she is currently completing a Ph.D on conceptions of freedom in pre-revolutionary Russia at King's College, University of Cambridge. She holds a Licence in international relations from the Graduate Institute of International Studies, Geneva, and a Master's in Russian Studies from University College, London. Prior to returning to graduate school, she worked for the English version of the President of Russia's official website. Her writing has appeared in eSharp, The Mark, and will soon appear in Studies of Religion.
